Accolades & Awards

Welcome to Historic Fredonia, NY!

Join the nearly 20,000 visitors who visit our downtown annually. Our six festivals have received coverage from Western New York to Rochester to Cleveland, Ohio. Several articles have been written about Fredonia and its festivals in the Buffalo News, Gusto, Explore New York, ArtVoice, The Public, Dunkirk Observer, Jamestown Post Journal, Chautauqua Star, Fredonia Pennysaver, “I Love New York” travel guides, Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau publications, Artifacts, Blues Beat Magazine, and Buffalo Spree.

The festivals have been listed by Gusto as #1 in its list of Top Ten Places To Go for The Weekend. The coverage and reputation of Fredonia as a tourist attraction is growing every year.

We believe these visitors bring vital business to local merchants, accommodations and to the community in general.
