Festivals Fredonia, Inc. Mission Statement
Festivals Fredonia contributes to a high quality of life in Fredonia and surrounding communities by presenting lively recreation and cultural opportunities to village and area residents. The six core festivals stimulate tourism, highlight
important aspects of our historic village, provide opportunities for regional artists and musicians, and showcase merchants, regional products and produce.
FESTIVAL OBJECTIVES
Fredonia Easter Festival:
The objective of the Fredonia Easter Festival is to provide a family fun event welcoming spring
and showcasing some of our local craft vendors, while driving foot traffic to the Village of Fredonia helping the local businesses.
Festival Italia:
The objective of the Fredonia Italian Heritage Festival (aka Festival Italia) is to provide a family fun event celebrating the community and regions
rich Italian heritage, history and cuisine, while showcasing some of our local craft and wine vendors, while driving foot traffic to the Village of Fredonia helping the local businesses.
Fredonia Farm Festival:
The objective of the Fredonia Farm Festival is to provide a large event celebrating the local farmers and showcasing the area’s local art
and craft vendors, while driving business to the local restaurants, businesses, and hotels.
Red, White and Blues:
The objective of the Red, White & Blues Festival is to provide a vibrant and commerce driven event, celebrating the region’s blues music,
red and white wine of the surrounding area while driving foot traffic to the local bars and restaurants hosting blues music throughout the festival.
Harvest Moon Festival & Tours:
The objectives of the Harvest Moon Festival serves three functions: to celebrate the history of the Village of Fredonia through
cemetery tours and historical programming; to celebrate Halloween and the fall season through festival programming and entertainment; and to provide thematic, seasonal, cultural enrichment for citizens of Fredonia and members of
the surrounding community by collaborating with local historians/historical organizations, local businesses, and local cultural organizations.
Miracle on Main Street:
The objective of the Miracle on Main Street Festival is to provide a family fun event welcoming in the holiday season with Santa and Ms.
Claus, providing fun activities for the community’s children and showcasing some of our local craft vendors, while driving foot traffic to the Village of Fredonia helping the local businesses.
